He does not look that terrifiying mobility is key when fighting someone like him he to large heavy and slow to be a threat to someone of high speed and the armor one well placed slash to the back of the knee or a wing joint and he is out of the fight.
Whatever level, and whatever alignment he's in, Raptor would SO hate to be up against him, and my Raptor was my medium sized red half dragon fighter, that is, until he met nighthawk, and turned back into a human!
Look up Half Dragon under the Monster Manual (3.5). Most Half Dragons in the Large Size Category usually have Wings. Take into Consideration Half Dragons Retain the Traits of the Dominate Race Genes. Everyone I know has recognized my character as a half dragon when showing this picture. But I can see the side you guys are coming from as well. Also take into consideration my character is 9ft tall and around 495.lbs
I didn't say that half-dragons couldn't have wings. In fact, I have a version of the Horsemen (of the Apocalypse) in a home brew setting that are Large and Huge half-dragons. Of course they have wings, but they look like an appropriate amalgam of the two creatures.
What is the other half of Dracun? Is it Lizardfolk? Or Landwyrm? I can't figure out what his other half is because he looks like a Draconian.
You friends probably know Dracun is a halfie because they know of him. I had no idea who or what he was until I read the description and comments. It was hard for me to believe he's only half-red, but it's your character. He can look like what every you want. Just pardon the confusion of us who are used to a more humanoid-ish looking halfies.
And I understand big characters. I play minotaurs, half-giants, and ogres all the time.
His mother was a Human Paladin who had been cursed by one of the gods. (I forget which god as this was years ago) But at any rate as her curse progressed she started developing dragon like features (Basically turning and corrupting her Gorgeous Looks and the once Champion of good into a corporation of her former self. (Alignment shifted to CN) She met a Human (Really Dracun's Father a CN Red Dragon in Human Disguise) Who fell into love with her and helped ease her pain. In the end they both died at the hands of a Evil Vampire Lord who Ran one of the cities within the Kingdom of White Feather. Leaving Dracun to fend for himself at the young age of 15. We set the character up so he ages similar to Humans but at a slower rate.
If you guys look close he has a White Pelt Cape, It is the pelt of a Frost/Winter Wolf. And was magically created to not only give Dracun Resistance to cold attacks but it adds another breath weapon. A Cone of Frost
I have got these stats to what they are through hard work, equipment and many many hours of play time. I have been playing Dracun for about two years now. And we play 3 times a week. As far as that not being what a half dragon looks like...Its a game based off of your imgaination. Thats what I wanted him to look like so thats what he looks like. The game setting we play in is not even in the books, it is an Infinite Material Plane made up by our DM. He did an awesome job on the commision. One of the bests I have ever seen
The picture is good but halfdragons from D&D don't look like that... The face is humanoid but with scales and horns. and supose that he is medium sized... Halfdragons of medium size and smaler dont have wings...
You are correct, when I created the character I made him as a large half-dragon. As I wanted to some what stick with the books. The Monster Manual mentions only Large Half-Dragons have wings. I am so glad I was able to find D-mac and commission him to draw up my character. He did a perfect job at translating my character description and drawing it up.
